A new question

Now, that the truth is starting to crawl out about Sarah Palin, it seems that the questionnaire she had to fill during the screening process was insufficient to uncover her shortcomings. As such, I suggest to add the following multiple choice question to this questionnaire:

Q: Africa is

  1. A state north of south Africa (like Virginia and West Virginia).
  2. A continent.
  3. A place one can see from a window in Alaska.
  4. A meditation technique. The name stands for “AFter Arica“.
  5. The period in the war in the pacific following the battle of Arica.
  6. A cookie.
  7. A shape of a cookie.
  1. She may not be the brightest, but in this you probably owe her an apology.
    See http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/13/arts/television/13hoax.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

  2. She is a pathological lier herself, so its hard to see why this really matters.

  3. Why do people gravitate to such hateful nasty things like this? I guess it’s too much to ask that people behave in a civil manor towards each other even when they have differences of opinion on political matter. I’m just glad the elections are over. At least now I don’t have to hear about these things non-stop.

  4. Hate and fear are basic feelings and work best in manipulating people. But I must say I like following politics. It is the best story ever told – it has everything – from honesty to deception, from wishful thinking to hard truths, from concentration on the living to the denial of death. It is the human comedy in its best.

As for nastyness, well, hiding it does not make it go away.
