Authors and Piracy

Nancy Kress has a blog. She is best known for her book “Baggers in Spain”, which is an interesting discussion of how humans would handle genetically modified humans that do not need to sleep. (In short, badly, but the book is recommended.) Anyway, her recent posts. are about an online pirate (probably not Somali) that had posted one of her stories online. She has interesting email exchanges with him/her.

Of course, a few posts earlier she complains that one of her stories is not available online. Hmmm.
